Colombian Film Commission Attends AFCI Locations Show
New Edition Production Guide Launched
For the fourth consecutive year, the Colombian Film Commission (CFC) manned a booth at the AFCI Locations Show, the main event sponsored by the International Association of Film Commissions (ACFI), which took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center during the first weekend of the Los Angeles Film Festival (LAFF), attracting close to 90,000 visitors in ten days, including some 40,000 industry professionals. During the show held on June 15 and 16, the CFC attended meetings with representatives from major US companies in which they presented the advantages of producing in Colombia.
The CFC took advantage of the market to present the new edition of their production guide “Colombia, Blockbuster Country” containing basic, up-to-the-minute information for those interested in producing in Colombia: production advantages, a summary of the county’s audiovisual industry, available infrastructure, current legislation affecting the industry, visa information, permit transactions, prices, etc. This new edition includes new photo gallery images of major national and international productions filmed in the country and some of its most important regions.
