Which permits are required to film in Colombia?
An authorization from the Ministry of Culture’s Film Office is required to film on national territory.  Other permits must be secured with local, regional and institutional authorities depending on the requirements of each project’s locations. Please consult the (link to permits)
What are production service costs like in Colombia?
There are no audiovisual trade unions in Colombia and no established or regulated rates for salaries paid to technical personnel.  Producers negotiate the professional services required for their projects directly with personnel.  For more information, we recommend you contact a Colombian production company.  For equipment, transportation, catering and other production services, consult our service directory and contact companies specializing in the field. What incentives are offered productions filmed in Colombia?
There are no direct financial or tax incentives for international audiovisual productions shot in Colombia.  However, certain tax benefits such as exemptions (link to Taxes) do exist, and co-productions with Colombian producers qualify for certain financial and tax incentives (link to Incentives).
