Colombia’s National Parks
Colombia has 54 nature reserves grouped into a National Nature Reserve System, more than 11% of the national territory. These parks are of incalculable ecological and environmental importance to the country and to all of humanity; each of them holds enormous natural wealth, countless varieties of plants and animals – many of them endemic – and absolutely amazing landscapes. The National Parks located in the Film Commission’s suggested regions are:

The diversity of natural environments throughout Colombia allows for a great variety of ecological and recreational tourism, especially in the National Nature Reserves, which include rivers, mountains, oceans, lakes, jungles, snowy peaks, caves, sheer slopes, towering trees and enormous waves.
