Colombia’s National Parks
Colombia has 54 nature reserves grouped into a National Nature Reserve System, more than 11% of the national territory. These parks are of incalculable ecological and environmental importance to the country and to all of humanity; each of them holds enormous natural wealth, countless varieties of plants and animals – many of them endemic – and absolutely amazing landscapes.  The National Parks located in the Film Commission’s suggested regions are:

Ecotourism
The diversity of natural environments throughout Colombia allows for a great variety of ecological and recreational tourism, especially in the National Nature Reserves, which include rivers, mountains, oceans, lakes, jungles, snowy peaks, caves, sheer slopes, towering trees and enormous waves.  All of this can be used in a great variety of audiovisual productions.
